Workspaces
Open several repositories side by side in one window.
When one change spans several repositories, such as a frontend and its API, open them together as a workspace.
Creating a workspace
Open the first repository, then press ⌥⌘O to add another one beside it. Repeat for as many as you need. To keep the set, choose File → Save as workspace and give it a name.
Saved workspaces appear at the top of the opener (⌘O), above the repositories. Edit or delete a workspace from its row menu there.
Working in a workspace
Most of the window covers every repository at once:
- The file tree shows each repository under a header that names its branch.
- File search and text search look through all of them.
- Run lists every repository's commands, and Start all starts them all.
- A commit that includes files from several repositories makes one commit in each, with the same message.
Some things belong to one repository at a time: the branch picker, History, Branches and Terminal. They follow the focused repository, which is shown by the repository chip next to the branch picker. Click it to focus another.
Workspaces are saved by the Reviewer server, so the terminal app opens the same ones.
