Branches and commits
Switch branches, commit, and read the history without leaving the review.
Branches
The branch picker is at the top of the sidebar. Click it to see your recent, local and remote branches, and type to filter them. Arrow keys move through the list and Return checks out the one you pick.

Every branch has more actions behind the ellipsis at the end of its row, or a right-click. Choose New branch at the top of the picker to create one.
The Branches surface in the bottom pane shows the same branches with more room. Local branches are grouped by folder, and each one shows how far it is ahead of or behind its upstream. Double-click a branch to check it out.
Committing
While you review your own uncommitted changes, the commit box sits under the changed files in the sidebar.
- Tick the files you want in the commit.
- Write the message, or click ✦ to have Reviewer write it from what changed.
- Click Commit, or Commit & push.
Fetch, pull and push are in the command palette (⌘K), under Git.
History
The History surface in the bottom pane is the repository's log, with its branch graph.

The bar above the list filters it by:
- The branch the log follows.
- A file.
- Text or a commit hash. Toggle regular expressions and case sensitivity beside it.
- An author.
- A start date.
Click a commit to open its diff on the page. The details beside the list show its message, author, date and the files it touched.
To follow a single file, right-click it in the tree and choose Show History. History opens filtered to that file.
