Pull requests
Review, check out, merge or close GitHub pull requests.
The terminal app reads pull requests through the Reviewer server, which uses
the GitHub access you already have: a token in GITHUB_TOKEN or GH_TOKEN,
or the GitHub CLI's login.
Finding a pull request
Press M to list the open pull requests in the sidebar, grouped by target
branch, with their checks and age. Press f or / to search by number,
title, author or branch.
Moving through the list opens each pull request's diff. Press Return to move into the diff, and Tab to move from the list to its files.
To go straight to one from the shell:
reviewer --pr 42Acting on it
These keys work on the selected pull request in the list, and in its pane (⌥⌘8):
| Key | Does |
|---|---|
c | Check it out |
m | Merge. You pick the method, then confirm. |
x | Close it, after you confirm |
o | Open it on GitHub |
y Y | Copy its link, or its branch name |
r | Reload it from GitHub |
Review comments
The pull request's review threads show in the diff beside your own comments.
On a pull request comment, press r to reply on GitHub and R to resolve or
reopen its thread.
